erreur : redéfinition de ap_hack_apr_allocator_create

La construction du code source pour le serveur web Apache représente souvent un défi intéressant.

Il est rare qu'une compilation d'Apache se déroule sans accroc dès le premier essai sur un serveur vierge.

En effet, cela nécessite une multitude de prérequis, et si l'un d'eux manque ou si la compatibilité des versions fait défaut, il faut souvent investir beaucoup de temps pour corriger les erreurs.

Lors de l'installation d'Apache 2.4.6 sur un serveur Linux 6.4 flambant neuf, j'ai rencontré l'erreur suivante :

Si vous rencontrez un message d'erreur similaire, voici comment j'ai réussi à la résoudre, en suivant ces étapes :

La solution

Après avoir analysé diverses configurations, j'ai constaté que cette erreur survenait lorsque la version d'apr-util installée était inférieure à 1.4.1.

• Vérifiez votre version d'apr-util. Si vous utilisez une version antérieure, vous devrez installer la version 1.4.1 ou une version plus récente.
• Téléchargez le code source d'apr-util depuis http://mirror.nus.edu.sg/apache/apr/
• Décompressez l'archive téléchargée.

Compilez et installez en suivant ces commandes :

./configure 
make 
make install

Par défaut, l'installation sera effectuée dans le répertoire /usr/local/apr/bin/apu-1-config

Vous pouvez maintenant configurer Apache en utilisant la version nouvellement installée d'apr-util, et tout devrait se dérouler correctement.

./configure --with-apr-util=/usr/local/apr/bin/apu-1-config
